This portfolio includes the artwork of Joshua Frontino. He currently lives and works in Los Angeles, California as a texture painter in the VFX community.

While primarily working in post-production, Joshua is also involved in pre-production, creating previsualization for major motion pictures. Most recent projects include The Avengers (2012), Men in Black 3 (2011), and Unstoppable (2010).

Unstoppable VFX for a Runaway Train

Great article I found regarding the CG train that I help create for Director Tony Scott’s “Unstoppable” (2010). I was apart of the texture team lead by John Hart over at Asylum VFX. We used surveyed photography to create an photoreal digital double of the entire 777 train.
